And, with just 10 days to go until Christmas, we are celebrating European Hamsters! European Hamsters are adorable. European Hamsters are not just found in Europe, they have also been found as far as some parts of Asia. However, the European Hamster population has significantly declined.
European Hamsters are the world's most endangered species of hamster. Sadly, earlier in the year, European Hamsters were classed as being critically endangered, due to a decline in the European Hamster population. It is believed that European Hamsters could now go extinct within the next 30 years if they aren't saved.
Although critically endangered, the European Hamster is larger than size than all the other hamster species - the European Hamster is the biggest species of hamster.
