Today is the second week of our Christmas advent calendar.
We are just ten days away from Christmas Eve and eleven days away from Christmas Day, and today, we are celebrating a cute and elusive cat.
The cat that we are celebrating today is Lynxes!
Lynxes are adorable cats that are found throughout much of the Northern hemisphere. Lynxes are found in Europe, Asia and North America. There are four different species of Lynx. The four species of lynx are - the Canadian Lynx, the Bobcat, the Eurasian Lynx and, the Iberian Lynx.
The Iberian Lynx is an endangered species. They are sadly one of the world's most endangered animals, as they have a very low population today. The population of the Iberian Lynx today is only 1,111 cats.
Today is a great day to celebrate Lynxes.
