Today is the 10th day of our Christmas advent calendar.
And today, with just 15 days to go until Christmas Day, we are going to celebrate one of the world's most unique animals in the animal kingdom - giraffes!
Giraffes are a wonderful animal. These beautiful tall animals are unmistakable in the animal kingdom, as there are no other animals quite like giraffes in the animal kingdom today. There are no other animals quite like giraffes as they have a unique print on their fur coat and they are also the tallest land animal in the world today!
It is thought that giraffes may not just be one species, but that giraffes may in fact be 6 different species. Other reports say that there are 4 different giraffe species and several subspecies of giraffes in the wild today.
