Today is day 11 of our Christmas advent calendar.
And today, we are celebrating mountain hares!
Mountain hares are cute animals found in some parts of the Northern hemisphere, they are found in the likes of the UK, Ireland and Scandanavia.
In the warmer months, mountain hares have a brown fur coat, but in the winter, these cute animals have a beautiful white fur coat.
Sadly, mountain hares have seen big declines in Scotland, they sadly now only have 1% of the population that they had in the 1990s.
