Scottish Wildcats are at risk of becoming extinct in the near future if nothing is done to stop the destruction of their forest home in the Scottish highlands.
Wildcat Haven needs your help!
Wildcat Haven is trying to save Scottish Wildcats and their habitat. They have been working to save Scottish Wildcats over the last decade. They have been closley monitoring what is happening in the Clashindarroch forest, where the Scottish Wildcats live, and they have found ongoing evidence of deforestation which is happening in the Clashindarroch forest.
The Clashindarroch forest is home to a third of the wild Scottish Wildcat population. If we lose the cats within this forest, then the cats will become extinct, therefore, it is urgent that we stop this deforestation - there is an estimated population of 13 Wildcats living within the forest, while there is only a total of 35 Scottish Wildcats living in the wild today - therefore, Scottish Wildcats are very vulnerable to extinction, and urgently need our help.
