Australia Breaks Its Warmest Temperature Record Twice In A Row

Climate Change

Australia has just broken its warmest temperature record for the second day in a row.

On Tuesday, Australia broke its record for the warmest day, by recording 40.9c as its highest temperature. And today, Thursday, they broke the record again, this time the temperature was 41.9c.

It comes after weeks of fires across Australia. These fires have destroyed millions of acres of bushland and has been very deadly for wild animals, especially Koalas.

The fires have sadly, at least killed 1,000 Koalas.

Here are some ways that you can help save Koalas:

Help save Koalas with the Australian Koala Foundation - here.

Help thirsty Koalas devastated by the recent fires - here.

Help thirsty Koalas with the University of Sydney - here.

Thank you!
