Today is Ferret Day; Happy Ferret Day!
Ferret Day is a day to celebrate Ferrets. It was founded by Carole Roche. Several years after Ferret Day was created, it was officially recognized in 2014.
Therefore, this year marks a special day for Ferret Day, as it celebrates its 5th birthday - happy fifth birthday Ferret Day!
The day is aimed at celebrating these beautiful and charismatic little animals; while also aiming to seek to dispel the myths which surround Ferrets.
Ferrets are one of the most misunderstood animals. Ferrets are so misunderstood, that they have even been labelled as New York's most misunderstood mammal.
Ferrets are sociable and loving animals.
