Romantic Animals: The Birds Which Stay Together For Life

A new study found that a species of birds known as Bullfinches, stay together for life. The study into these birds was studied through 24 field observations of the birds, into their mating habits. In other birds, they were studied for 24 seasons. The study found that these birds mate together for life. All of the 24 field observations were found to produce similar results.

The study seems to be accurate, as it was done over 24 seasons. This means the mating behaviour of these birds was observed during all of the seasons, which paints a more accurate picture of the birds habits, throughout every season. It shows that the birds stay together throughout all of the seasons, and not just in the breeding season. It’s common for birds to stay together through the breeding season, but not always after the breeding season.

Bullfinches can be difficult to spot in the wild or in gardens, as they are shy animals. This is particularly true in the breeding season, when they are more elusive, because they are caring for their young. Therefore, they are more likely to be seen during the Winter season. During the Winter, you are more likely to see Bullfinches, than at any other time of year in our gardens.
